Hello, The game looks really nice, but the gameplay is a bit shallow. the optimal strategy seems to be standing in the middle of the lab, shooting right then left then right then left etc. The two biggest things I would suggest is to find a way to increase the skill ceiling and the replayability. Adding some more depth to the gameplay as well as some sort of upgrades or levels might help with that.

Hey there!

Thank you very much for checking it out, and I really appreciate the feedback.

I absolutely understand your point about the gameplay not being amazing, the reason for that is that, the project length was 1 month.

My goal is to release a game every month for the rest of 2022, to improve my portfolio. Feel free to check out my other project(recommended: lost alien), and give me a follow as I will be releasing another game for august later this month.

Hey there! This is a fantastic project! With some minor improvements, I can see it doing quite well!

My feedback:

  • It needs some indications where the enemies are, I spent some time wandering without knowing what to do
  • It isn't clear the ammunition
  • It barely matters if you move up or down, you can always hit the enemies
  • Kills multiplied by 5 is strange, either change that for score or do a 1x1
  • It would be nice to have a shop to purchase improvements for the character before the match.

Are you still developing it?

Hey, Thank you very much for the great feedback!

For the first point I was thinking of adding that, but I thought if I did that player would be spamming & shoot nonstop.

Kill multiplier, I 100% agree, I just noticed how dumb it is XD.

I am not developing this game any further, because my goal is to release 1 game every month for the rest of the year.

(feel free to follow me on itch & would love to hear your feedback on my next project)

Hey, I had the same goal, but it all went south on my second project 😅

Good luck with that!

Thanks!

I have so far been able to deliver a game every month since I started doing this on April.

The reason I am doing this because I want to a build good portfolio, so that After my internship, I can land a junior level game developer position!
